HOW DOES THE RACE WORK: The race follows the same idea as the ATP race that allows the Top 8 players to qualify for the O2 Finals at the end of the year by collecting points throughout the year. In our case, the Top 4 at the end of the year will qualify for some great prizes!

HOW DO I SCORE POINTS (2019): You score 5 points for winning a match, and 2 points for losing a match.

Bonus Points: 3 bonus points for winning both singles matches in one matchplay, 2 bonus points for winning a match 4-0.

Beating a Top 5 player (from Feb half-term onwards): 5 points for beating 1st place, 4 points beating 2nd place, and so on, down to 1 point for beating 5th place. You ONLY score these points if you were ranked lower in the table on the day of the match.

BEATING A TOP 5 PLAYER: The bonus points for beating Top 5 players will begin from March 2nd 2019, and will only be awarded to players ranked below their opponent on the day of the match, so if 2nd place beats 1st place, 5 bonus points are awarded. However, if 1st place beats 2nd place, the 4 bonus points won't be awarded. March 3rd is set so that by this time league tables will better reflect form and ability. Do check league tables before Matchplay to see if your opponent is a Top 5 player!

RICHMOND SPORTS 2019 MATCHPLAY RACE PRIZES: The Top 4 in each category have been rewarded with a cash voucher and goodie bag from Richmond Sports (2019 prizes tbc), which can be used in either of their stores (Richmond and Sheen). Latest 2019 standings are below!

Finishing TOP of your table: £40 Richmond/Sheen Sports voucher! PLUS a winner's No.1 trophy!

Finishing 2ND in your table: £20 Richmond/Sheen Sports voucher! (Excluding Orange)

Finishing 3RD in your table: £10 Richmond/Sheen Sports voucher! (Excluding Yellow 13+ and Orange)

Finishing 4TH in your table: £5 Richmond/Sheen Sports voucher! (Excluding Yellow 13+ and Orange)
